US wins ‘zero’ victory in 20-year Afghan war, says Russian President
MOSCOW: Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that the 20-year-old Afghan war has caused great tragedy and loss for the United States and the Afghan people.

According to the International News Agency, Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that the United States has achieved “zero” victory in the Afghan war. The 20-year adventure ended in tragedy and every American attempt to break Afghan traditions failed.

The Russian president added that the consequences of imposing anything from outside are not good and history has shown that especially in Afghanistan, the results are zero. The only consequence has been tragedy and loss.
Earlier, President Vladimir Putin rejected the West’s desire to resettle Afghan refugees in Russia, saying the Soviet Union had stopped interfering in Afghanistan’s affairs since the end of the 10-year war.

It should be noted that US President Joe Biden, while officially announcing the end of the Afghan war, blamed the Afghan army for the haste and torture in the withdrawal.
