Turkish President returns home from UN conference on climate change
ANKARA: Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan returned home after canceling a UN conference on climate change shortly after meeting his US counterpart.
According to the International News Agency, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Rome with his wife and other senior officials to attend the G20 summit, where he met with his US counterpart.
However, the meeting between the two leaders proved fruitless. The supply of F-16 fighter jets and threats to deport US diplomats were also discussed, but no solution was forthcoming.
