The United Arab Emirates has approved the opening of its embassy in Tel Aviv
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has approved the opening of its embassy in Tel Aviv, Israel.
According to the Gulf newspaper, the approval to open an embassy in Tel Aviv was given at a meeting of the UAE Cabinet chaired by UAE Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. In August last year, an agreement was reached between the United Arab Emirates and Israel with the help of the United States, under which diplomatic relations were established between the two countries.
Since the agreement, more agreements have been signed between the two countries for cooperation in many fields.
