The Cabinet Division wrote a letter to the Federal Secretary Law on the issue of Broadsheet Inquiry Commission.

The letter said that the Ministry of Law should provide office and funds for the Broadsheet Commission. The Ministry of Law should provide relevant records to the Broadsheet Commission and immediate steps should be taken to make the Broadsheet Commission functional as soon as possible. The federal cabinet, meanwhile, turned the broadsheet committee of inquiry into a one-member commission of inquiry. Justice (retd) Azmat Saeed will investigate and submit a report to the Prime Minister.
