Saudi Arabia offers big deal to Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: Saudi Arabia has offered Pakistan an agreement on environment, Malik Amin Aslam said, adding that Saudi Arabia wants to make Pakistan a partner in the Green Initiative.
According to details, contacts between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have intensified, with significant progress after talks between Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Saudi Crown Prince.
Saudi Arabia offered an agreement on environment to Pakistan. In this regard, the Saudi Ambassador met with Malik Amin Aslam, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister. The meeting offered to sign a partnership agreement in four key areas related to the environment.
Special Assistant Malik Amin Aslam said that Saudi Arabia wants to make Pakistan a partner in the Green Initiative, 10 billion Tree Tsunami is now being launched in Saudi Arabia as well.
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will sign an agreement on environmental protection, as well as cooperation in the areas of Protected Areas Initiative and Renewable Energy.
Saudi Arabia has expressed interest in the Billion Tree Tsunami and the Olive Tree Tsunami. Important contacts between the two countries, including technical delegations, will begin soon.
It may be recalled that a few days ago, Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman telephoned Prime Minister Imran Khan to inquire about his well-being. And praised the ‘Green Middle East Initiative’.
