Saudi Arabia closes 10 mosques over Corona cases

The Saudi government has temporarily closed 10 mosques in connection with the Corona case.

According to Arab media, the Saudi Ministry of Religious Affairs made this decision after the corona cases came to light among the worshipers, after which 10 mosques in 5 cities including Riyadh, Mecca and Medina have been temporarily closed.

According to Arab media, three of the ten mosques that were closed have been completely sanitized and reopened.

According to Arab media, 135 mosques in Saudi Arabia have been closed in recent weeks due to Corona cases, of which 108 were fully sanitized and later reopened.

The Saudi Ministry of Religious Affairs has instructed mosque employees to fully comply with the Corona SOPs, adding that inspections of mosques will continue from time to time in view of the health and safety of worshipers.

On the other hand, due to Corona, it has been decided to impose curfew in Jordan every Friday, while from Sunday, 30% of employees will be allowed to work in the workplace.
