Real benefits of virtual exercise, new research proves
TOKYO: New research shows that the use of computer displays and eye-display displays can really benefit the nervous and psychological training and reduce the severity of stress, including depression.

Earlier, it was thought that the benefits would not be fully realized until the doctor was present.

A research paper in this regard has been published in the International Journal for Environmental Research and Public Health by the Center for Aging Research, affiliated with Tohoku University in Japan.
Although exercise is good for everyone, not everyone can benefit from it, including heart patients and those in hospital beds. If they are exercised, the reverse can be harmful to health. However, Emerson Virtual Reality (IVR) may be useful in this case.

According to the research, seeing a virtual character or avatar exercising as a first person also changes the viewer. In them the heartbeat increases even if the viewer is not sitting comfortably. But more than that, there are mental and acquired benefits.

It was then formally tested in adults. Each individual was shown virtual exercise twice a week and 20 minutes per session for six consecutive weeks. Even while sitting, he saw the exercise in a first-person manner and began to think that he himself was involved in this activity. This is why exercise or training sessions are specially designed to make you feel this way.

For example, in one video, his representative ran 6.4 kilometers for 30 minutes. Psychological stress was noted in the patient before and after the experiment. Surprisingly, after the virtual session, the actual patient’s stress was reduced as if the viewer had done the actual exercise.

This research will pave the way for a new treatment through virtual reality.
