Punjab government decides to maintain ban on Basant
The Punjab government has decided to maintain the ban on Basant across the province.

Punjab Law Minister Raja Basharat called on Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar and discussed Basant.

On the occasion, the Punjab Chief Minister ordered stern action against the kite-flyers and said that implementation of the law banning kite-flying should be ensured.

Under the Punjab government’s decision, Basant celebrations will not be allowed in any city including Lahore, Faisalabad, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Gujranwala and Rawalpindi.
