ISLAMABAD: Exports to many countries declined in March on an annual basis. Last month, exports to Kenya fell by 31 percent, Saudi Arabia by 19 percent and the United Arab Emirates by 10 percent.
According to the official document, exports to Kenya in March fell 21 percent to 41 24.16 million, compared to 34 million in March 2020. Last month, exports to Saudi Arabia fell 19 percent And exports stood at 33 43.32 million, compared to 36 53.6 million in March 2020.
Similarly, exports to the UAE in March fell 10 percent to 34 93.44 million from 10 104 million in March 2020.
The document states that after a 4% decline in exports to Bangladesh last month, exports stood at 59 65.98 million, compared to 87 68.74 million in March 2020.
Exports to Qatar fell 2% in March to 45 14.57 million from 48 14.81 million in March 2020.
According to the document, on an annual basis in March, exports to China increased by 104%, the United Kingdom by 36%, the Netherlands by 36%, the United States by 26% and Germany by 23%.
