Actress Mahesh Hayat of Pakistan Showbiz Industry has also raised her voice for a campaign to compensate the actors for the re-broadcast of the drama on television.

Mahesh Hayat has shared his message with the hashtag GiveRoyaltiesToArtists on the photos and video sharing app Instagram.
The actress said that whenever a drama is telecast again on television, the stars working in it should be paid again for its earnings.

Mahoshhiyat also said that whether the drama runs on any platform or anywhere in the world, the stars should be paid for its sales.

Mahesh Hayat, referring to his favorite show ‘Friends’, said that the stars who work in it get paid more than the actual fee for working in this show every year.

At the end of her post, the actress said that artists need to be valued.
