Israel opens embassy in UAE
Following the resumption of diplomatic relations with the United Arab Emirates, Israel has officially opened its embassy in the UAE.
At the Israeli embassy, Eitan will serve as Israel’s chief of staff.
On the other hand, the Prime Minister of the UAE Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has also approved the opening of his embassy in Tel Aviv. In August last year, an agreement was reached between the United Arab Emirates and Israel with the help of the United States, under which diplomatic relations were established between the two countries.
Since the agreement, more agreements have been signed between the two countries for cooperation in many fields.
Following the UAE’s announcement, Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco have also announced diplomatic relations with Israel.
