Employees discriminated against, Tesla sued and sued
California: Fifteen former or current employees of Tesla have filed a lawsuit against the company for alleged discrimination.

According to the foreign news agency, the employees said that they faced racist comments from colleagues, managers and human resource employees of the company.

The behavior was reportedly carried out by employees at Tesla’s Fremont factory. Employees allege that Tesla’s SOPs include blatant and open racial discrimination.
According to reports, the electric car company is currently facing 10 cases of alleged racial discrimination and sexual harassment. The company has previously denied the allegations, saying the company has policies in place.

Last October, Tesla was ordered to pay Owens Diaz, a former black employee, 13 137 million. The company was fined by Owen for failing to take action against racism.

U.S. District Court Judge William Orick said it was “painful” for Tesla not to act on Diaz’s complaints.

Following the court ruling, a blog post was released by Tesla’s vice president of human resources, Valerie Workman, dismissing the allegations in the lawsuit, but acknowledging that while Diaz was working there. Tesla’s policies were not the best.

Workman said Tesla fired two contractors and suspended a third in response to Diaz’s complaints.
