After approval from the US Senate, Aurel Haynes was appointed US Director of National Intelligence.

The Senate voted 84 to vote for Aurel Haynes, who was chosen by US President Joe Biden as director of intelligence, with 84 voting in favor and 10 against.

Aurel Haynes says she will always speak the truth for the sake of national sovereignty and resist obstruction of the work of intelligence agencies.
